A History of Alien Contacts
Kinkajou:. I think that is possibly a much better place for us to start. We should go back in history to the beginning. The real question is not why the aliens are here now. The question is why they came here in the first place, why they have stayed for so long and what they think they have achieved by doing so? So how far back can we go?
Erasmus: . There is considerable historical evidence of the use of advanced technology or knowledge on this planet. The most ancient of unusual advanced knowledge begins in preliterate times ( before humanity had developed the written word). Remember that language in early human civilizations did not span words of technology .
Aeroplanes would be described as flying chariots. Rocket exhausts if visible- as fire. There are no ancient words for nuclear explosion or even explosions of any sort at all, no ancient words for large spans of time, no ancient words for advanced numbers- mathematical counting systems having not been invented to cope with big numbers. Even the number zero – is a recent invention. Often the witnessed event is embedded in ancient scrolls, art, or verbal myths and legends passed down for millennia.
Flying Fiery Chariots
Kinkajou:. Some authors have interpreted Sumerian legends of the gods as being a description of the formation of our solar system. There are perhaps also nuggets of information to be gleaned from such human innovations such as the zodiac.
The Bible in the book of Genesis broaches evolution and a history of man. The creation of man with a huge brain causing travail or suffering for human mothers is a concept belonging to the modern era, not the ancient one.
Erasmus: . The oldest well preserved and well translated/intensively translated book we have in our possession is the Bible. In particular we are going to try to go back as far as we can to look at the history of alien encounters. A good solid historical version of the Bible available is the DOUAY RHEIMS version of the Bible. The Douay Version of the Old Testament was first published by the English College at Douay in 1609 A.D. and the New Testament version was first published by the English college at Rheims in 1582 A.D.
This Bible is a translation in English of the Latin version Bible known as the Vulgate. This Latin version of the Bible, was prepared from the original languages by St Jerome at the end of the fourth century. The work took its author over 20 years during which time he lived in a cave in Bethlehem close to the birthplace of Christ. Its translation was of a very literal nature intending to reproduce the character of the Latin as closely as possible, an approach which has encouraged the development of a number of more modern revised English versions. But historically, we seek the old as being perhaps the closest to the source.
Douay Rheims Bible
Goo: .So let’s start by examining Alien Intent by examining the Bible, in the book of Genesis.
Erasmus: . And we do need to make some allowances for the type of book that the Bible is. The Bible is written by unsophisticated people with a much more limited vocabulary than ours.
Kinkajou:. Yes, once in reading a book called the Bible code, the book made the claim that it had found the ancient Hebrew word for nuclear weapon coded within the text of the Bible.
Erasmus: . Yes I think we can certainly say that there will be no translations of ancient Hebrew language for many words including “nuclear weapons”. The people who wrote the Bible probably had a limited numerical capacity to count more than 200. I don’t think the language and maths symbology existed in that era. I think many things were spoken of in very simple terms and are capable of being interpreted by more technologically aware people such as ourselves in a very different way.
Like I said, I am fairly sure that there is no ancient Hebrew word for “Nuclear Weapon”. And no words to describe lots of other odd encounters or events as well.
Goo: .That is not to say that the Bible does not tell the truth. It is to say that the Bible tells the truth as seen by simple and non-technologically sophisticated people from their era who saw it or witnessed events. We belong to an era up to thousands of years richer in technology and due to TV / Radio also far more exposed to so many experiences that most of us never experienced in real life and never will experience either. But we have words to describe these odd events and encounters and have seen similar or parallel events on TV on which to compare our experiences.
Kinkajou:. In the era in which we are interested, which is the book of Genesis, events to which this book pertains probably occurred around 10,000 years BC, which is approximately 12,000 years ago. The world would have been a very different place. The burgeoning civilisation began in Sumeria approximately 5000 BC (7000 years ago). In the early stages of this “civilisation”, humans were becoming nomadic herders and farmers. But before this time, history tells us very little. The pre-Bronze Age civilisation.
Erasmus: . The burgeoning of civilisation is a very unusual event. It took place approximately 5000 years after God and the angels arrived on this planet. (That is civilisation appeared approximately 7000 years ago i.e. 5000 BC). Civilisation implies specialisation between farming ,industrial and commercial activities. Civilisation implies the appearance of marketplaces, commerce, trade, transportation, communications, a need for record-keeping – reading writing and arithmetic, a need to organise society and to have laws and an administrative hierarchy.
We have made the claim in our personality sites enkcharms.com and ennegenes.com that one of the key contributors to the development of civilisation is the appearance of advanced personality genes. The “native population” genetics of high opioid (enneagram social) genes and fast histamine genes (enneagram nine), are not conducive to the development of a civilisation. We’ll talk more about this later along with the concept of the real “original sin”.
Goo: . I think this approach definitely has merits. If the Aliens have been here for a long time, they have undoubtedly been doing things for a long time. They one thing I learned from watching murder shows on TV is that someone who commits one murder may have a chance to get away with it. But if they keep on being involved with the victim, keep on killing serially, then they always give themselves away. Truth eventually wins out. There are too many layers of evidence and multiple events restrict interpretation to the point that eventually an answer comes through the fog of time and history.
There are many events in history documented by sources such as the Douay Rheims version of the Bible, the book of Enoch, the Epic of Atrahasis, the Epic of Gilgamesh , Enuma Elish- the Babylonian Epic of Creation ,etc. Taken together they form serial evidence of humanity's serial encounters with extras-terrestrials and advanced technology.
Erasmus: . And there is another aspect. Technology! You cannot hide the application of technology. All you need are witnesses. Some technology, namely biotechnology is its own witness. It is much the same as doing something clever on a web page on the Internet. Almost all coding is built into the page and anyone can look at how it has been done. The fingerprint of biotechnology is the DNA. If biotechnology has been deployed, the DNA code will always be present – IN FULL.
Stealth Technology in Action: Ninja approaching stealthily.
Dr Axxxx: . True genius lies in the stealthy use of advanced DNA coding and we will look to see what history teaches us.
Kinkajou:. The Bible is an excellent place to start because it is a holy book. This means there is an institution built around the word of the Bible. (Religion) This institution has a purpose to maintain as exactly as possible the Bible and to allow minimal alterations to the words contained. (Up to a point anyway). This is a significant achievement.
Erasmus: . Remember that the history that we are examining is preliterate history. History tells us that the first writings were the Sumerian pictographs. But before this the teachings of the Bible would have been transmitted from person to person, generation to generation. Religion would likely enshrine the maintenance of the historical words of the Bible – unchanged, or as unchanged as possible.
We need to remember that the writers of the early Bible do not have any familiarity with so many technologies that we take for granted. For example numerical counting with “zero” as a marker, is almost a modern era invention.
The first recorded zero appeared in Mesopotamia around 3 B.C. The Mayans invented it independently circa 4 A.D. It was later devised in India in the mid-fifth century, spread to Cambodia near the end of the seventh century, and into China and the Islamic countries at the end of the eighth century AD.
Goo: .The very concept of the number zero is a modern invention. So much of what we see in the written word would, have reflected no known parallels in the languages of the past.
Erasmus: . Writing appeared much earlier but still within the bounds of accepted recorded history. It is generally accepted today that the earliest form of writing appeared almost 5,500 years ago in Sumeria (aka Mesopotamia or Iraq). The earliest language focussed on pictographs but this recording system gradually evolved to a system where characters represented language sounds.
Writing systems appeared to have developed independently firstly in Sumeria, then in Egypt from around 3200 BC , with the Shang Dynasty in China from around 1600BC and in MesoAmerica between 900 BC to 600 BC. Writing was also used in the civilisation of the Indus Valley (coexistent with Sumerian civilisation), but it remains undeciphered.
Although these dates suggest that writing could have spread out from one central point of origin, there is little evidence of any links between these systems, with each possessing unique qualities.
This suggests that much of recorded Bible history existed in early times as a verbal record carried by the people, in particular religious people.
Goo: . Hence the importance of religion in maintaining the records.
Kinkajou:. The Zodiac system of astrology also appears to have some ancient roots. This may well be relevant to early history of humanity and of ET contact/ influences.
Erasmus: . The Zodiac organisation of the stars seems to be a late Mesopotamian (Sumerian) invention.
The Babylonians had already divided the Zodiac into 12 equal signs by 1500 BC — boasting similar constellation names to the ones familiar today, such as The Great Twins, The Lion, The Scales — and these were later incorporated into Greek divination. The astronomer Ptolemy helped popularize these 12 signs.
Goo: . You would certainly wonder whether the Zodiac reflects some knowledge of ETs held in a verbal form by early peoples and transmitted / retained amongst priests.
Erasmus: . Sagittarius is mostly identified with Greek Mythology, in which he is depicted as a centaur. This half human and half man carries a bow and arrow that is aimed toward Scorpius in the sky. However, there is some haziness in the history as to who this creature really was. Sagittarius was first associated with Nergal, an ancient Sumerian God of War that shot arrows.
There are other depictions of Nergal, like the one you see above, that shows the god as a half man and half lion. It is possible the Greek adapted this constellation to fit their own mythologies. Historians also debate who this constellation truly represents. Sometimes Sagittarius is identified as Chiron, who was a wise and benevolent creature that trained many Greek Heroes, such as Jason, Theseus, Heracles, and Achilles. (Greek and Roman history is truly in the modern era not the ancient one – so this view may not be relevant to the views of human beings looking at ancient events with EBEs).
Goo: . I think the conclusion is that the jury is out. More evidence required as to whether the Zodiac carries any references to or knowledge of EBEs.
Kinkajou:. Never forget that the people of our early history would have had a limited vocabulary.
The people are few, and their ideas and words are few, the average peasant has probably never known by sight more than three hundred humans in his whole life; his vocabulary is almost certainly confined to something even less than the six hundred words which some researchers found to be the stock-in-trade of the medieval German peasant. The German peasant’s parish priest is not bound to preach to him more than four times a year; and the evidence suggests that a great many did not fulfill even these theoretical obligations. But this narrow life means a great deal to him and his family; it is all the life they have, or hope to have, on this earth.
This means we cannot expect to see many familiar concepts and words. The words to describe the technology that has not been invented yet – have not been invented yet either
Kinkajou:.. The Bible certainly is an unusual book. Genesis has definitely unusual aspects as well.
Sumerian Writing: note the evolution of the pictographs over time. If you are to translate early Sumerian pictographs you would have to wonder whether pictographs had specific meanings in specific Sumerian cities, and not one meaning across all cities. And there were no widely used dictionaries, some meanings of symbols would have been bound to drift over time. After all a Sumerian symbol is really just an agreement amongst users that it has a specific meaning. It is like to be city specific and time specific. Languages evolve , especially this type of symbolic as opposed to alphabetical type language.
Goo: . So much has been preached about what the Bible book contains that sometimes the only way to realise what it contains is to read it yourself. And this is something which is very rare.
Erasmus: . One in five of all American adults have read the Bible from start to finish. While it might not be shocking to discover well over half (61%) of evangelical Christians have read the Bible from start to finish, it may be surprising that nearly one in six (18%) of people with a faith other than Christianity and about one in eleven (9%) people with no faith claimed to have done the same. Approximately one-third of politically conservative adults say they have read the Bible, compared with one-tenth of political liberals. Among regular churchgoers, 32% say they have read the entire Bible at least once and just 9% say they've read a few sentences or less.
Dr Xxxxx: . In chapter 1 of Genesis, the Bible gives a basic overview of the formation of our planet and its moon, the evolution of plant life and then of animal life, followed by the evolution of mammals and finally of man on this planet. All this supposedly from pre-technological people unable to read or write, with a limited vocabulary and forced to pass on this information verbally from generation to generation.
Erasmus: . Yes it has impressed me before that considering all the church people who have refused to accept evolution, the first chapter of Genesis seems to espouse it.
Firstly God created the heavens and the firmament – the whole space between the Earth and the highest stars. Then there was night and day implying the formation of the Sun/ Suns.
The earth developed dry land and oceans and then proceeded to bring forth plant life and then creeping creatures (reptiles) and birds that may fly over the earth. It then makes mention of the appearance of mammals, in particular the farm animals on which humans depended and lastly God created man in his own image: to the image of God, he created him male and female. He created them.
The biblical sequence including the dinosaur phase in Genesis 21 matches modern scientific findings about evolution so the notion that the Bible and science are in conflict is baseless.
The big problem seems to be that the Bible has been interpreted by foolish and/or self-serving humans over millennia – intent on maintaining their religious hegemony over the population – people who literally believe that the Bible actually is talking about seven physical days to create the world, not seven epochs of time-people who do not realise that the words of the Bible are recorded in a language which has literally No words for millennia, eras or epochs of time and No words for evolution.
Genesis : the Tree of Knowledge
1 In the beginning God created heaven, and earth.
2 And the earth was void and empty, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the spirit of God moved over the waters.
3 And God said: Be light made. And light was made.
4 And God saw the light that it was good; and he divided the light from the darkness.
5 And he called the light Day, and the darkness Night; and there was evening and morning one day.
6 And God said: Let there be a firmament made amidst the waters: and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7 And god made a firmament, and divided the waters that were under the firmament, from those that were above the firmament, and it was so.
8 And God called the firmament, Heaven; and the evening and morning were the second day.
9 God also said; Let the waters that are under the heaven, be gathered together into one place: and let the dry land appear. And it was so done.
10 And God called the dry land, Earth; and the gathering together of the waters, he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
11 And he said: let the earth bring forth green herb, and such as may seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after its kind, which may have seed in itself upon the earth. And it was so done.
12 And the earth brought forth the green herb, and such as yieldeth seed according to its kind, and the tree that beareth fruit, having seed each one according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.
14 And God said: Let there be lights made in the firmament of heaven, to divide the day and the night, and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years:
15 To shine in the firmament of heaven, and to give light upon the earth, and it was so done.
16 And God made two great lights: a greater light to rule the day; and a lesser light to rule the night: and The stars.
17 And he set them in the firmament of heaven to shine upon the earth.
18 And to rule the day and the night, and to divide the light and the darkness. And God saw that it was good.
19 And the evening and morning were the fourth day.
20 God also said: let the waters bring forth the creeping creature having life, and the fowl that may fly over the earth under the firmament of heaven.
21 And God created the great whales, and every living and moving creature, which the waters brought forth, according to their kinds, and every winged fowl according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
22 And he blessed them, saying: Increase and multiply, and fill the waters of the sea: and let the birds be multiplied upon the earth.
23 And the evening and morning were the fifth day.
24 And God said: Let the earth bring forth the living creature in its kind, cattle and creeping things, and beasts of the earth, according to their kinds. And it was so done.
25 And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds, and cattle, and every thing that creepeth on the earth after its kind. And God saw that it was good.
26 And he said: Let us make man to our image and likeness: and let him have dominion over the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the air, and the beasts, and the whole earth, and every creeping creature that moveth upon the earth.
27 And God created man to his own image: to the image of God he created him: male and female he created them.
28 And God blessed them, saying: Increase and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule over the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the air, and all living creatures that move upon the earth.
29 And God said: Behold I have given you every herb bearing seed upon the earth, and all trees that have in themselves seed of their own kind, to be your meat:
30 And to all beasts of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to all that move upon the earth, and wherein there is life, that they may have to feed upon. And it was so done.
31 And God saw all the things that he had made, and they were very good. And the evening and morning were the sixth day.
Goo: . I think the obvious conclusion is that this worldview is inappropriate to the technology and knowledge of the people of this time. It would be reasonable to assume that this worldview has an external source – an extra-terrestrial source perhaps.
